Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med/Surg unit. The RN Med/Surg will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and challenging environment. This role requires strong clinical skills, critical thinking abilities, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care
- Educating patients and their families on treatment plans and post-discharge care
- Adhering to all hospital policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and confidentiality
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Med/Surg setting
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification (preferred)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
